When you are tempted to yell…

Mommy Didit with Daddy Ryan and baby Harmony

Raising a child has its ups and downs. Maybe it’s quite a bit easier when both parents are there for their children physically, but for a military wife and a mommy to a 3-year-old smarty pants, it’s not just a walk in the park.

Let me share with you an eye-opening article I have read from a dear friend’s blog “My Daily Dose of Harmony.”

Inside voice please, Harmony!

I’m sure parents can relate to this. Our children learn by modeling adult behavior. When we yell at our children, it bounces back at us making us more agitated and less sensitive to their needs. I sometimes feel guilty about making shortcuts when it comes to disciplining my children. And I realize that being a mother does not require too much yelling. I want them to become peace loving children as all parents would.

Moms and Dads, visit Didit’s blog @ http://dailydoseofharmony.blogspot.sg/  thank you! 🙂
